Cenitex is a shared services agency providing centralised Information and Communications Technology (ICT) support to Victorian government departments and agencies. Cenitex now brings together the best technology and the best people to keep the Victorian government operating, connected and working for the community 24/7. The organisation has approximately 550 employees and provides ICT services to 35,000 people across six Victorian Government departments, and other associated and major agencies.

Cenitex plays a key role in setting government direction for major systems and cyber-security, and for government-wide IT capability uplift. Cenitex today has five service offering groups and these are Identity and Access Management, Network Management, Cloud Services, Security and User Workspace. The Cenitex ambition is to be the best performing, most innovative and reliable provider of ICT services in Australia.
As part of its ongoing evolution Cenitex is realigning its structure with its current and emerging services. This Restructuring Program is to reposition the organisation for the future. This means that a number of new and reshaped roles are now open to both internal employees and external professionals. These Leadership Positions and their Position Descriptions are now available are outlined on the following screen.
